Program Overview

The J&D Entertainment Talent Notifications SMS program sends operational text messages to performers ("talent") who have been booked for events through J&D Entertainment. This is a transactional (Customer Care) messaging program — we do not send marketing or promotional content.

Messages are sent from a 10-digit long code (10DLC) number registered and approved under the A2P 10DLC compliance framework.

"J&D Entertainment: Please ensure you arrive at Dickies Arena by 3 PM for call time on Saturday. Reply STOP to opt out."
"J&D Entertainment: Location for your booked event has been changed to Ball Arena. Please log in to the talent portal to review the updated contract."
"J&D Entertainment: Confirming your booking for the ACME Corp Gala on April 20. Reply HELP with questions."

How Consent Is Collected

J&D Entertainment onboards talent to the Talent Portal by invitation only. Talents who have been engaged to perform for J&D Entertainment receive an invitation email with a unique link to create their password and activate their account. On that account creation page, they are presented with a required consent checkbox before their account can be created. Below is the exact text of the consent checkbox talents see and must explicitly check:

I agree to the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy, and consent to receive SMS messages from J&D Entertainment about my bookings, call times, and event updates. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

The checkbox is required. The account cannot be created without explicitly ticking it (enforced both client-side via the HTML required attribute and server-side by the application, which rejects any submission missing the consent field).

When a talent submits the form with consent, the application records the exact timestamp and the talent's IP address in the database, creating a legal audit trail of consent that can be produced if ever disputed.

Opt-Out, Help & Rates

Opt-out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive a one-time confirmation that no further messages will be sent.

Reply HELP for program information, or contact us at info@jdentertain.com.
Message Frequency
Frequency varies based on event activity. Talents typically receive 1-10 messages per month.

Standard message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier and plan.
Supported Carriers
AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and most regional US carriers.
